Representatives from Killeavy GAC visited St. Moninna’s to showcase the impressive trophies won last year across football, hurling and camogie. We were delighted to welcome Sean Callan (Chairperson), Steven McDonnell, Fergal and Shea Connolly, Ella‑Louise O’Donnell, as well as the talented Scór Irish dancers, who recently celebrated their Ulster title.
The assembly was a fantastic occasion, featuring singing, video highlights, and a lively question‑and‑answer session with our guests. All pupils from P1–P4 were thrilled to receive special Killeavy jerseys, and we enjoyed taking group photographs with P1–P7, SPEYF and SPSC classes.
To make the day even more special, Sean Callan announced that Killeavy GAC will be providing coaching for P1–P3 pupils after the mid‑term break.
It was a memorable event celebrating not only the achievements of Killeavy GAC, but also the strong and valued partnership we share with our local club. A wonderful day for our whole school community.
