The very special Sacrament of Confirmation took place on Saturday 18th April, in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Cloughoge, celebrated by Archbishop Eamon Martin, alongside Fr. Naughton, Canon Clyne, and Deacon Jacek. The occasion was made even more memorable by the strong sense of parish and community spirit that filled the day.
The Primary 7 children from St. Moninna’s Primary School, Cloughoge, were delighted to be joined by pupils from the two other schools in Upper Killeavy Parish — St. Joseph’s Primary School, Meigh, and St. Michael’s Primary School, Killean. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to come together in friendship and faith, sharing this important milestone as one parish community.
The school community is sincerely grateful to all involved who helped make the celebration such a meaningful and joyful occasion for our pupils.
