What a fantastic start to our school's book week!!!
Primary 6 were delighted to welcome local author, Declan Carville to our classes to hear all about his books and what inspires him. The children loved hearing him read some of his stories and explain where he found his ideas. They learned how to plan a story with his 10 Tips for Writing and shared their reviews on his book, The Magic Harp, that they read before he arrived.
This was a truly magical visit. A trip to the Fairy Glen will never be the same for these children again!
