🚴♀️ DFI Cycling Proficiency Scheme Underway for P7 Pupils
We are delighted to share that our Primary 7 pupils have begun the DFI Cycling Proficiency Scheme, which started this week and will continue into next week.
The programme provides an excellent opportunity for pupils to develop essential cycling skills and learn how to stay safe while riding on the roads. Throughout the sessions, pupils are working to build their confidence and improve their practical cycling ability.
So far, the children have been enjoying both the practical and safety elements of the course, demonstrating enthusiasm and a positive attitude as they take on new challenges. The scheme covers important topics such as:
- Bike control and handling
- Road awareness and hazard perception
- Safe cycling techniques
We are very proud of our P7 pupils for their commitment and effort during the sessions so far. We look forward to seeing their skills continue to grow as the programme continues next week.
